Download Instagram Reels in HD, no watermark
Paste any public reel link and get the original MP4 — full resolution, no re-encode, no Instagram logo stamped over it.
Why reel downloads usually come out worse than the original
Instagram re-encodes every reel for its own player, and most third-party "downloader" sites re-encode it a second time to shrink their bandwidth bill. Two lossy passes stack: motion blur smears, dark scenes turn blocky, audio gets flattened. What you saved barely resembles what you watched.
This tool skips that step entirely. It asks Instagram's own API for the exact video file the app itself would play — same resolution, same bitrate, same audio track — and streams it straight to your device. Nothing gets transcoded in between.
Multi-clip reels resolve to every individual clip, not just a merged preview. Reels with a trending audio track keep that audio intact rather than swapping it for a generic soundtrack, which some competing tools do to dodge copyright claims.
How it works
- 1
Open the reel on Instagram
Tap the ••• menu on any public reel and choose Copy link — works from the app or a browser.
- 2
Paste it above
Tracking parameters get stripped automatically, so a link copied from a story reshare works the same as one from the original post.
- 3
Download the MP4
One click on desktop, or straight to your phone's Downloads folder on mobile — no intermediate preview page.
FAQ
Does it work on private reels?
No — only reels a logged-out visitor could already see. Private-account content stays private; there is no bypass here.
Will the audio track survive?
Yes. The video file pulled is the same one Instagram's player uses, audio included, at whatever bitrate Instagram itself serves.
Is there a resolution limit?
No — whatever quality Instagram published the reel at (up to 1080×1920 for most accounts) is what you get.
